The Pergola Foot Anchor™ is a fast and innovative foundation solution designed specifically for pergola kits with hollow metal posts and factory post-base flanges.

Using a standard handheld 1/2" drive impact wrench, the helical auger drives deep into the soil in minutes — creating a strong, ground-anchored footing without digging holes, mixing concrete, or waiting for cure time.

Simply secure your pergola’s post base directly to the load plate using the included stainless self-drilling screws.

Convex Ground Contact Load Plate

Ideal for direct-to-ground installations where the plate sits directly on soil, grass, or compacted granular surfaces.

Flat Load Plate

Designed for installations over pavers or patio stones where a flat bearing surface is required.

CHOOSING THE RIGHT AUGER LENGTH

For pergola applications, we recommend a minimum 36" auger length to achieve proper embedment and extend below typical paver and gravel base layers.

Most pergola installations are well suited to our 3-1/4" blade diameter auger, which offers an excellent balance of holding power and easier installation in harder soil conditions.

Longer augers may be beneficial in softer soils or higher wind exposure areas.
