Very easy to install

I used these post bases to attach 35" 4x4 pt wood to the porch for the railings. Looks great. Just have to be very careful to center hole and drill level ( I have a level on my drill). I found the quickest and easiest way to drill the hole is with a speed drill. Dont bother buying a bore because it takes forever to make the hole. Also if you make a mistake you can cut the insert out and use it again.
