1/2" holes are not 1/2" breaking compatability

My complaint is the 1/2" holes are not 1/2". That means things like the Titan Coupling Bolts suggested by DecksGo or Hexnuts Washers from Simpson StrongTies do not fit out of the box.

I'll try to open the whole with a 1/2" bit. It's only about maybe 1/64 smaller, but that was enough so that none of the items I discussed above to work.

Winner of a product for dune beach stairs

Our lakeshore dune restoration company loves this product - we've used well over 100 of the 48" anchors already this season to rebuild stairs to the beach for individual property owners and homeowner associations. These allow us to have a "light on the land" impact on eroding dunes and give a strong foundation to stairs that are subject to strong winds and waves. Thank you!

Best EVER!!!

My husband raved about how easy these were to install. He said he doesn't understand why anyone would dig footers or use any other product.
